Client Problem:

Aristocrat is a leading gaming company with more than 2,000 staff globally. It was crucial for each employee to be able to communicate easily across the world and understand where other people fit within Aristocrat.

Yet, they were constantly frustrated by limited and rigid search engines that forced them to know how to spell names - even foreign ones. Aristocrat needed a sophisticated search function for its corporate directory.

Our Solution:

Antares worked with Aristocrat to implement the Silverlight-based People Profile Search in Microsoft SharePoint, integrated with Active Directory and Microsoft Office Communications Server.

Using fuzzy logic, Antares created a turbocharged search solution that gives users accurate search results without being able to spell or by searching on other profiles, such as location, role or OHS information.

To keep information current and accurate, the new corporate directory integrates with all data sources and provides a single source of truth. All information can be easily exported and used to communicate, eg, for email.
