Client Problem:

CGU, a large insurance company, wanted to develop a new portal that would become the primary source of information for CGU staff. It wanted to create a cultural shift in the way they communicate with each other:

1. Make communication more effective
2. Stop bombarding people with irrelevant broadcast emails
3. Push all communications out to everyone but let people choose what they want to read (pull)
4. Provide business units with structure and authority to communicate changes and address issues
5. Create an environment of choice and self responsibility

Our Solution:

Antares used Microsoft Office SharePoint Server to provide the business with enterprise content management (ECM) and document management and extended SharePoint content publishing with custom Windows workflow automation.

This allowed multiple business approvals to be received before content was published across the intranet, while maintaining a single source of truth for content.
