Antares and NSWALC leadership speaks at Gartner BI Summit customer panel

Sydney, 23rd February 2011 - Gartner BI Summit - Microsoft Customer Panel

Antares Solutions and NSWALC leadership had an opportunity to speak at Gartner BI Summit regarding the adoption of Microsoft's Business Intelligence platform and the key benefits that this platform brought to their client, the New South Wales Aboriginal Land Council (NSWALC).

Milan Maksimovic, Antares Enterprise Solutions Director key note was about importance of stakeholder management driving BI projects within an organization in achieving its strategic objectives. At this event Antares also invited their long term client, NSWALC Chief Finance Officer, Margaret Palmer and Information Communications Director, Lee Netana.

Margaret Palmer noted that choosing Microsoft's BI platform was a natural choice and economically beneficial for their organisation as they already had SharePoint and SQL server in-house which did therefore, did not incur additional costs such as licensing.  

Microsoft tools such are Excel and SharePoint are already widely used in the organisation and are very well received by users. NSWALC ICT Director, Lee Netana addressed the audience by bringing to their attention, the innovative orientation of his organisation which is driven by Executive vision to deliver a platform with "a single source of truth" and providing transparency of organisational performance.
